2-layer terry microfibre towel dry robe will absorb all moisture off your dog, keeping them nice and dry. Drying your dog's fur has never been easier, simply wrap them in the Dog Drying clothing & Velcro them in.
The outer plaid layer material is made of a sport-like microfibre toweling, that takes up a fraction of the space whilst being super absorbent for sweat and water.
The neck and chest flap are adjustable, so you can get the perfect fit for your pup. The wide belly flap allows for full coverage of your dog to get them dry. The adjustable hood & collar on the dog drying towels ensures their ears and heads are dried.
The unique car safety D ring, made with stainless steel added just below the nape of the dog robe, ensures your dog is safe in the car. Do not use this as a lead or harness. It is a safety ring to ensure your dog is safe when driving.
Dog Drying Towel Coat is easy to wash. You can put them into the machine washer after drying your pet down. Allow to dry and it’s perfect to use on your next wet dog. The high-quality towelling will keep soft & absorbent after every wash.
Size M fit perfect for my 8 months Cocker Spaniel. I like the fact that it covers most of her back as her other one was too short. The collar also covers the dogs neck and looks cool almost like a hood.To be honest I think she could go for L size too. I love the quality and the design. The only disadvantage is that you have to attach the leash to the coat . Would be better to somehow have a hole for the leash through the coat. Or may be was made this way to prevent the god from getting wet. However is a lovely coat and my dog loves it too.
I chose this coat in the medium size, and in the beige colour for my Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. As you can see from the photos above, it is a perfect fit for him.
The coat itself has a lovely soft feel on the patterned plaid outside, and the inside features a brown terry-type towelling material. There is a flap at the neck, and at the chest which both have strong Velcro strips to ensure a perfect snug fit. Each flap features several strips which make sure the coat is held secure. This is a great improvement on other coats I have had, which have just one strip, and have come undone. I cannot see this happening with this coat. There is a collar which can be fastened to dry the ears. This is perfect for the long floppy ears of my Cavalier. The collar can be folded back if necessary. The embroidered name Tailblazers on the body flap in gold thread adds a nice luxury feel to the coat.
I tried the coat on my dog, and as you will see from the video, he was happily wagging his tail, and even looked to be laughing !! He wasn't actually wet at that point, but I later had to take him for a walk in the rain, and put the coat on him to dry him off. He wasn't keen at first, as it stopped him from rolling about on the carpet, but he soon snuggled down with the coat on. I removed it about 20 minutes later, and he was warm and dry. Normally I would be chasing him around the house with a hairdryer in my hand trying to catch him. This was much easier and more relaxed for us both !
In conclusion, both myself and Dylan are delighted with this coat. It feels excellent quality and does the job for which it is intended. I believe you get what you pay for, and it is obviously well designed using top quality materials. It will also end up saving you money, if like me, you were used to using a 2000 watt hairdryer to dry off your four legged friend.
If Dylan could talk, he'd say get one now !! I hope you found this review helpful.
My dog Junior is a 7 month old Jack Russell and he absolutely loves this coat!
The coat is great quality and nice and thick to keep Junior warm when we get in from cold and wet winter walks. Would definitely buy again - would highly recommend!
This coat is offered in a variety of sizes and with 4 colours to choose from is suitable for the discerning dog and owner.
I have compared this item with the first dog coat which I purchased some years ago which cost twice as much. That coat was plain, but manufactured from thick Terry towelling and which helped to dry my then dog “Ollie the Collie”.
So what do I like about this coat and which makes it better than the original coat I purchased? It fits well on “Jago” a Sprocker and the now universal fasteners for this type of item, hold the coat tightly and securely onto his body. The coat is much lighter, particularly when it has absorbed water, however I have found it not as effective as a traditional towelling type and does not leave the dog as dry initially, however over time and in a warm kitchen, the natural wicking process ensures that water is removed and helps to dry the dog.
Fixing the coat to Jago is relatively simple and once fitted it ensures that the back of the car when transporting him back from a wet walk prevents him from distributing wet material in the car.
On wet days, the coat will dry quite quickly if left in the garage or similar. Washing and drying this coat is easy, literally it is almost dry when it comes out of the machine,
The coat appear durable and should last.
