The dog loves it, keeps her well occupied for 20-30 mins. Mount on the fridge it sticks really well, they avoid biting the rubber if they can easily lick the food. Not so easy cleanup, the cleaning tool doesn't really do anything, you have to bend it in the sink to get all the crevices and sometimes use a tooth pick. It loves to splash water back at you so you have to do it submerged. Dont have a dishwasher so dont know if that would make it easier. Spatula is nice.

My dog loves them and brilliant recipe book

My new Maltese dog really loves to forage for his food. Put dry food in his dog dish and he can take or leave it. Put some dry food on his snuffle mat and he’ll eat the lot. So, it seemed natural to get him some of these lick mats.

They arrive in a nice retail box. As well as the two lick mats, there’s a spatula, cleaning pad, and best of all, a dog recipe book. I tried to get him to read the recipe book, but he wouldn’t. So, I guess I’ll have to, instead. It’s an interesting read.

The two lick mats are identical apart from their colour where one is yellow, and the other is blue. However, each mat has three zones that have different patterns on them and make them more suitable for what you are serving. On the back of the mats are rubber suckers, so it can be stuck down to a hard surface. This can be the floor, or it can be stuck on a vertical surface. It might sound daft, but vertical mounting will keep the dog busy while you try to groom them or cut their nails.

So much fun can be had with these mats if my dogs are anything to go by, if i smear peanut butter onto the mats using the spatula included the shape of it means i can smear different items and textures onto the mats and the dogs go nuts. It keeps them occupied for ages while they try and finish it they end up with it smeared on their noses. Such a genius product and good value for money as included in the price i got 2 lick mats double sided giving a variety of textures and sizes a spatula and a double sided silicone cleaning aide to help get the pads clean getting into all the nooks and crannies. If thats not enough included is a 36 page recipe book on ideas to use that are animal favourites. These pads are going to keep my animals so occupied which i love anything that gives them enrichment and i cant believe the price for everything thats included.

This is such a great pack, and great value for money. Not only are you getting the mats, a cleaning brush and the spatula but you are also getting a recipe book. I have never seen one of these before and it is brilliant. My dog loves the mats with peanut butter on but I have often wondered what else I could use to make it a bit more exciting for her. I am sure she doesn’t care but it is a ‘mum’ thing!! This book is great. It explains what foods are for your pet. It even advises on raw food. The mats have section cups on them to stop them from moving around and they are also dishwasher friendly. I am really pleased with these.
